Beaconsfield House

For this glass house on the edge of lake St-Louis, the clients desired a safe haven for themselves and their two kids. The open spaces and the large windows enables the natural light to be present all day long. One can also enjoy the landscape no matter what room one is in.

We created living spaces well defined from one another. We wanted a synergy between the exterior and the interior in order for materials such as wood, marble, stone and glass to dominate the dwelling. We redesigned a large section of the second floor to accommodate a master bedroom with a fireplace, a walk-in closet for her and for him, as well as a sumptuous complete bathroom with a view of the lake. The imposing staircase stands out as being the focal point of this magnificent mansion, with its curbed glass, large wooden steps and floating structure.
